About us
Insights of an Eco Artist has evolved from its origins as an archival space into a dynamic communal hub that promotes collaboration and creativity. Led by Joana Alarcâo, our organization is built by artists for artists, focusing on the transformative power of art in addressing social, political, and environmental issues.
Documenting Impact Through Art:
Since our establishment in 2020, the organization, magazine and podcast of the same name have aimed to create a space for creative and political discourse free from the constraints of governmental influence. Through our work, we explore the impact of art interventions on contemporary global atmospheres, highlighting artists, artistic projects, artist-led cooperatives, and activist groups committed to fostering dialogue around pressing global affairs.
Join Us:
We invite you to join us as we venture into the depths of eco art, uncovering how creativity can inspire meaningful change. Our organization is open to diverse voices, opinions, and perspectives, and we welcome contributions from anyone eager to engage in this vital conversation.
